We are a certified 501(c)3 charitable organization.*
All gifts made to the Martha and Mary Maternity House are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
Give a one-time or recurring financial donation
Gifts of any amount will help, and all are tax-deductible. A monthly gift assures our mothers ongoing support throughout the year.
PROVIDE CURRENTLY-NEEDED ITEMS
We have set up a donation registry to guide anyone who wishes to contribute to the furnishing of the house.
Send a baby gift
There are many items we will need to support our youngest residents...and like the babies, the list is always growing!
Enroll in Your Employer’s Matching Gift Program
Many employers will match your charitable gift, which doubles your gift’s impact
Donate a Used Vehicle
Depending on our need and the vehicle’s condition, your car or van may be used by our organization, gifted to a daughter, or auctioned
Run or Participate in a Baby Bottle Drive
Distribute baby bottles to members of your parish/organization, to be filled with donations over a period of time, then consolidate and donate what you collect. We provide a flyer and empty baby bottles! Email email@example.com about this opportunity for everyone to have hands-on involvement in our life-affirming work.
Contribute your Professional Services
Are you a skilled writer? Accountant? Social worker? OB/Gyn? Life skills coach? Restaurateur/cook? We need your help! Contact us to find out how you can use your God-given talents and gifts for the benefit of this important ministry.
You can leave a legacy that gives life to unborn children and supports their precious mothers by including us in your will, estate plan or life insurance beneficiary list.
Host a Shower or a Donation Drive
Sponsor a gathering celebrating the arrival of one of our newborns, the “graduation” of one of our Daughters, or collect home necessities or food through your church, group, or business.
Donate Gift Cards
Target, WalMart, and CostCo gift cards are always very welcome to purchase the essentials for our growing family.
* We are a tax-exempt charitable organization, currently organized as a ministry of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago. We anticipate IRS approval as a nonsubidiary, tax-exempt charitable organization within the coming months.
